Lorna Moffat gave an inspiring and entertaining presentation on her fabric art journey. She talked about her days as an Art student in Scotland to living in various countries before settling in North Vancouver.
Lorna often works with silk and uses a variety of techniques and materials. She presented a slide show which included pictures of her commissioned works and her personal forays into creativity.
These are examples of quilts and hanging using silk fabrics and an interesting cutaway technique.
Members were also intrigued by her exquisite bags.
Thank you, Lorna, for sharing your passion for fabric art with our guild.
