Welcome to the Seymour Quilters’ Guild Website.  We are a smaller but active guild who meet in North Vancouver in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.  We strive to provide a program that is informative and inspiring, and to create a place of friendship through quilting.

We are involved in our community by making quilts for those in need, by supporting Quilts of Valour – Canada, and by taking our own homegrown presentation called “Have Quilts Will Travel” to various local venues.

Our meetings are held at 12 pm on the third Wednesday of the month from September through June at Gloria Dei Church Hall, 1110 Gladwin Drive, North Vancouver, B.C.

Carola Russell

“Needles, Threads and Feet – Overcoming Issues”

Carola is the owner of Carola’s Quilt Shop in Gibsons, B.C.  From her blog … “Carola has been in the sewing industry for over thirty years.  She is a sewing machine and serger teacher, quilt shop owner and a passionate stitcher.  Sewing is Carola’s creative outlet.  Most exciting is finding new ways to express that passion.  Her latest excitement is “low immersion dyeing.”  Look for Carola at sewing and quilting shows.  You will find her lecturing and selling Aurifil thread.  Carola is a Canadian Distributor of Aurifil Threads to Canadian Quilt Shops.”
